The location is perfect, just a short walk to Times Square. The elevators take a long time, especially in the morning. Happy hour drinks were decent, but the lobby can feel overcrowded during peak times.

Location is prime. Step outside, and you’re in the heart of it all. Room was quiet and impeccably clean, an unexpected surprise in such a busy area. Staff? Exceptionally friendly. They’re helpful without being overbearing, a refreshing balance. Breakfast, however, is a challenge. It's packed, with long lines. Quality lacks depth and variety—too much sugar, too many convenience products. Check-in delays were frustrating, especially after a long journey. Elevator access needs serious improvement. Waiting can eat into your schedule, especially during peak times. For now, the experience is solid, but adjustments are necessary—particularly regarding breakfast management and logistics. Would I return? Yes, but I’d skip breakfast.

Location is perfect, just steps from Times Square. Lines for the elevator can be frustrating during busy hours. Happy hour had nice drink options too.

This hotel is just a short stroll away from Times Square, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the vibrant heartbeat of New York City, while also being within easy walking distance to iconic sites like Central Park, Rockefeller Center, and Madison Square Garden, ensuring you can soak in the city's energy at every turn; the rooms are comfortable and well-kept, offering all the amenities one would need after a day of exploring, but the check-in process could use a bit of improvement during busy hours.

The staff was super helpful when we needed to change our booking. Great location just a short walk to the action and public transport.
It wasn't cheap but worth every penny.

The staff are super friendly and always ready to help! The breakfast offers a fantastic variety and is quite enjoyable, but be prepared to elbow your way in. The location is ideal for tourists, with the subway just a stone's throw away.
The room is really small, especially when the sofa bed is out.

The bathroom was a nightmare—grimy grout, a brown smear on the door, and a toilet that clearly hadn’t seen a scrub in ages. It really ruined the stay for me, not what I expected at all.

Stayed at a hotel with a never-ending breakfast queue, perfect for my daily patience exercise routine. The location was great, but the room size made me feel like a sardine in a can. Such a fancy 3 Euro-style experience!
I absolutely adored staying in a room where I could touch both walls while lying in bed. So spacious and luxurious!

Perfectly located near Times Square, we enjoyed easy walks to major attractions and found plenty of dining options nearby. The staff was genuinely friendly, and the breakfast, while chaotic at times, offered surprising variety. the breakfast setup felt disorganized, with long queues and limited seating. Room cleaning wasn't as frequent, and we faced some hiccups with customer service, particularly regarding charges. Despite these quirks, the cleanliness of the room was commendable. Just a heads-up: if you’re planning a longer stay with two people, space might feel tight.

The room was extremely small, containing just a bed, a tiny bathroom, and a small chair. Temperature control was decent, and the bed was comfortable with clean linens. The power shower was a welcome feature. there was no space to unpack; luggage stayed on the floor. The coffee machine was a fabulous idea, and the small fridge was convenient. Noise levels varied, but external sounds could be heard. Staff interaction was mixed, with check-in being pleasant but some receptionists unhelpful. Facilities like breakfast were crowded, making meal times challenging.

Can just recommend! ❤️😊

Hyatt Place Times Square exceeded my expectations with its impeccable cleanliness and a heavenly mattress that made sleeping a delight. The staff were incredibly courteous, and the location was perfect for exploring. The breakfast offerings, though busy, were excellent—definitely returning for another stay!

Room was clean and spacious. The location was top-notch, just a few blocks away from a famous location and in the heart of a vibrant district. The staff at the reception was very helpful and went the extra mile to assist us promptly.
The room felt cramped, almost like being in a shoebox. The tub/shower was tiny, making it challenging to move freely.

During my xmas stay, the location stood out, just a few steps from Times Square and close to Penn Station for easy train access. The breakfast spread was satisfying, offering a variety that changed daily. Plus, the exceptional service from one receptionist was remarkable, going above and beyond.
The lack of communication was a major downside. Being charged for waters in the room without prior notice was unexpected.

The room was cozy and clean, but there were some issues that bothered us. The location was perfect, right by Times Square and other attractions, which made exploring the city so convenient. the room was quite small, especially if you have a lot of luggage. We had to juggle our bags around to make space to move comfortably. One thing that really bothered me was the noise from the air conditioning unit. It was incredibly loud and made it difficult to sleep. We ended up turning it off and just using the fan they provided, which helped a bit. The bed was comfortable, but the sofa bed was a bit cramped and took up most of the floor space when it was opened. Breakfast was chaotic, with long queues and a lack of organization in the dining area. The disposable crockery and cutlery were also a letdown, considering the environmental impact. The elevators were always busy, especially during meal times, which meant long wait times to get to and from our room. On the plus side, the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful, especially Leandra who went out of her way to resolve an issue we had with breakfast. The location of the hotel was unbeatable, making it easy to walk to many popular spots in the city.

Great location, staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds, nice breakfast. However, the air conditioning was very loud and made it difficult to sleep at night. We'll bring earplugs next time. Overall I'll recommend this hotel.

We had an incredible family vacation in the heart of New York City, thanks to our stay at this centrally located hotel. The convenience of being just a stone's throw away from Times Square, Bryant Park, Madison Square Garden, and Fifth Avenue made exploring the city a breeze. Despite the mixed reviews, we found our room to be clean and comfortable, perfect for two of us and our luggage. We were pleasantly surprised by the minimal wait time for the elevators, and the breakfast queue seemed manageable. The friendly staff ensured that we felt well taken care of throughout our stay.
The only drawback we experienced was the small size of the rooms, which is common for New York City. If you have lots of bags, it's important to consider the limited space.

the hotel was super clean, and its location's great – despite being in a rough part of the city - it's near the train station. the staff were all helpful - but the guy at the breakfast area was extra thorough in cleaning up after guests. also, got a tasty breakfast selection.
Would recommend.
